Guangzhou Palma Battery Co., Ltd. is located in Nansha District, Guangzhou, in the hinterland of the Greater Bay Area (GBA). It was established in 1996 with investment from the South Korean Palma World Group in China and was acquired by Hong Kong-based capital in 2001. It is one of the earliest companies in China to produce sealed energy storage batteries.
After years of development, the company has established two production bases in Shaoguan, Guangdong, and Indonesia, as well as a headquarters warehouse in Nansha, Guangzhou. It employs 300 people in total, including 20 professional and technical staff. The company is equipped with world-leading automated production lines from South Korea’s NAIS and testing equipment from Germany’s Decaron. Its main products include automotive batteries, UPS batteries, solar cells, power batteries for golf cars, electric sports batteries, and motorcycle batteries. As a comprehensive battery manufacturer, it offers a wide range of battery types, covering over 95% of the market.
In addition to its core products, the company also provides professional services such as OEM battery packaging design and battery usage planning for its customers.
Its products are widely used in various fields, including automobiles, motorcycles, electric vehicles, marine vehicles, solar energy systems, wind power generation, hydroelectric and nuclear power facilities, UPS power supplies, EPS power supplies, security monitoring systems, medical equipment, cloud computing, big data, backup power systems for smart cities, as well as electric toys, power tools, mobile speakers, agricultural equipment, and construction machinery.
